La Tzoumaz is an ideal winter sports location less than 2 hours’ drive from Geneva Airport. A large choice of ski tows, chair lifts and cable-cars connect to other resorts in the 4 Valleys region. Together with Verbier, Nendaz & Veysonnaz, La Tzoumaz adjoins one of the largest ski areas in Switzerland with over 400 km of runs, 100 lift installations and extensive off-piste skiing.

In addition, La Tzoumaz offers ample facilities for beginners and children, a natural ice rink and a 10km floodlit sledge run with 848m of thrilling descent.

Visiting in summer there are many strolls through the beauty of the pine and larch forests, explore the summits of Mont Gelé & Mont Fort or enjoy family walks across the mountains to discover the local wildlife. La Tzoumaz also has a heated indoor swimming pool with sauna, and a tennis court. Go fishing in the lac des Vaux, mountain biking and enjoy the trail of the senses (accessible to wheelchair users) or the trail of the Bisses.

Situated on the picturesque “Sentiers des Bisses” and in the village of the “Sentiers des Sens” and “Maison de la Foret”, the nature enthusiast will find delightful walks where you can discover more about the life of the Swiss “mayens” and the mountain streams, trees, flora and fauna. “La Tzoumaz Bike” is also an attraction for the mountain bike enthusiast.

Just below La Tzoumaz on the valley floor, you can enjoy “Les Bains de Saillon”, a natural thermal spa complex in the medieval village of Saillon, offering a range of relaxing and/or invigorating pools, jacuzzis and treatments, visit the many vineyards for wine tasting, “Les Lacs Soutterains de St Leonard”, “La Grotte aux Fees” in St Maurice, and many more attractions and pursuits. First class golf facilities are available in the nearby towns of Sion and Crans-Montana.
